    Kumho P&B Chemicals, a joint venture company established by Kumho Petrochemical and Nippon Steel & Sumikin Chemical, manufactures BPA the 5th largest in the world with annual capacity of 450,000 ton, phenol, 9th largest in the world, and other chemical products such as acetone, MIBK, epoxy, etc. BPA is the raw material for polycarbonate resin used to manufacture home appliances, cell phones, automobile parts, etc. and is also the raw material for epoxy resin used to manufacture coating materials, electric insulating materials, wind blades, etc., and phenol, basic industrial material, is used to manufacture products such as electric and electronic, pharmaceutical, paint, etc.

    Korea Energy Power Plant, a special purpose corporation (SPC) established for photovoltaic power generation business, specializes in rooftop photovoltaic power plant installation and electricity generation and sales.
